Vehicle
The Enforcement equipment is suitable for mounting in a range of vehicle sizes, from Smart Cars to large vans. The suggested target vehicle for clients is a Toyota iQ. This has the equipment securely fitted in the rear, a discreetly mounted touch screen display and a mast mounted PTZ camera with Twin ANPR cameras mounted to the side of the vehicle.

Back office systems
Any enforcement zone files generated by the system to describe additional waiting restrictions for the equipment will be made available in a format suitable for importing into the back office. The equipment produces evidence packs for each of the potential contraventions it during operation. These contain the video footage of the offence for review in the back office with the XML Data.
Maintenance and support
TES will maintain and support the enforcement system for a one year period or for the life of the rental period. This will include servicing the equipment, the replacement of faulty hardware*, the fixing of software faults pertaining to the supplied functionality, software updates and the associated site visits by an engineer.

Modes of Operation
Parking Enforcement
The camera can be positioned before the enforcement shift begins.
While the vehicle is being driven, evidence packs can be generated in the following ways:
- manual trigger (by pressing a soft button on the touchscreen) whenever the parking officer sees any kind of offence,
- Automatic ANPR trigger when driving past a sequence of illegally parked cars, e.g. on a clearway.
Specific Zone Enforcement Enforcement
For the enforcement of a specific zone, e.g. hashed zones outside schools, the system can be operated with the vehicle parked and with the engine turned off. On arrival at the enforcement zone, the camera is aligned by the CEO, using the touch screen. The CEO can manually trigger offence collection, timestamps, at any time. At all times the ANPR will be running in the background and can alert the CEO in the event of a vehicle, being on the blacklist, being detected.
Bus Lane Enforcement
When permitted by law, bus lanes may be enforced in the same way as the specific zone enforcement described above. In this case, PCNs are issued from the back office, using data written to USB Flash Drive by the TES Solution. The system must pass certification before it can be used for bus lane enforcement in this way.
